My my my, don't know what to say, I'm in awe. As a kid I got the three kingsalbums and loved em all (still do ofcourse) but suddenly they disappeared and tonight I found this site by sheer accident. They sound as good as they did beck in the days, I'm speechless! Just have say, though their albums are all great, Full Frontal Attack is a pure masterpiece, one of the best albums ever made, got me through some heavy shit, so got damn good to see they are back!

I used to catch the "Young Lions" way back at the Piccadilly Hotel (now uber chic [but boring] Soho Bar) at Kings Cross (Sydney)!  As for Guns n Roses and the Jeff-v-Axl stoush.  Just remember GnR quoted Aussie bands The Angels & Rose Tattoo as bands they looked up to.  One of GnR's  biggest hits "Paradise City" was written by Rose Tattoo Australian guitarist Mick Cocks and sold to GnR.  "All Fired Up" a massive hit for Pat Benatar, was written by Aussie band "The Rattling Sabres".  My point is .. we have great bands here in Oz, why do we have to pander to the Seppo's all the time (Jeff is right).  Young Lions/KOTS were another great Oz band!  I ended up drumming with ex-KOTS Bass Player Chris Lewis for a while, talented Bass Player and nice bloke to boot!  I saw GnR with Angels & Tatts in support at S.E.C. years ago.  The Aussies blew them off the stage!  Hope R&F get down to Sydney ASAP.  Hard Rock is thankfully on its way back ...Baby Animals, The Poor, Judge Mercy and more...

Yeah-Yeah-Yeah My-My-My the Hoad boys still ROCK ON!! heard a rumour you guys were still rockin it up on the Gold Coast somewhere (up in the mud and the blood and the slippery green slime) and now I've found your site, got your new CDs and I’m ready to rock!
First thing about KOTS I remember, watchin Rage and saw the clip for Black Leather! Then saw you guys live at Palace in St Kilda and Sandown Park Hotel, Jeff singing in the mosh pit with the fans then whipping Cliff’s drum kit with a Leather Jacket from the crowd, what a wild life!
Those that have seen it know the live act is one hell of a supershow, time to bring it back to MELBOURNE!!!!

the 4 KOTS videos remind me just how great they were and how much fun it used to be to find new bands to get into - and yet I missed them when they played here as support to Kiss - dont forget the North East of England on your next World tour !!!!!

Why did the Hoad brothers descide to start a new band name instead of continuing with the name Kings of the Sun? Always thought that name was so cool!! Just curious, took me a while to find out anything about the Hoad Brothers until a year or so ago when I found Superstar on Ebay and took a chance that it was them and bought it. I now have all three new albums. I want them to come tour in the USA again. I missed them back in the 80's and 90's. Have any shirts and stuff old or new? Keep on rockin'!

There desperately needs to an All Things Not The Strokes section of this message board. The band "all things the strokes" section is filled with so much garbage...

Hehe your all going to laugh at who i support, but its a tadition in my family as my grandad was asked to play for them but my dad was being born ect ect. Its charlton.
